Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role for a Country Manager located in Almaty, Kazakhstan.

The Country Manager will oversee daily operations, develop and implement strategies for growth, establish and maintain relationships with local universities, and ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations. Daily tasks include managing the local team, handling budgets, conducting market research, and representing StudyIn at educational events and fairs.

QualificationsExperience in management, leadership, and team developmentStrong understanding of the study abroad education sector and with excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skillsFinancial management and budgeting expertiseBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Education, or a related field; UK Master's degree preferredFluency in English, Russian and local language proficiencyHigh energy professional preferably with experience in dealing in overseas education or an allied field. Desired total experience would be about 5-10 years.

Result-oriented with the ability to work under pressure to achieve targetsSelf-motivated and ambitious with a passion for selling Detail oriented with excellent organisational and analytical skillsAnalytical and reporting skills – able to interpret and present data effectively. Excellent communication skills across all key methods – oral (including presentations), written and non-verbal. Directly monitor and manage a team of Sales (Counsellors) and marketing in the country. Set up the monthly, quarterly and annual sales plan to achieve the sales target required by the companyReview counsellors daily activities and understand each client's requirements and profile.

Suggest appropriate actions to close the salesMake sure counsellors follow up with clients and update the CRM on regular basis. Support, and motivate team members to achieve individual and team targets. Planning and organizing seasonal UK University fairs, boutique events, seminars and webinars in the region. Contact and follow-up with schools for sessions and empanelment. Manpower planning, hiring and training to be conductedBuild up and maintain a good relationship with students and their families and develop a feedback system
