Position Summary The Key Account Sales Specialist is responsible for managing, developing, and expanding relationships with key healthcare providers — including hospitals, clinics, and medical centers — within an assigned territory. The role focuses on driving business growth for the company’s medical claims transaction services, ensuring customer satisfaction, and achieving sales targets through strategic account management and solution-based selling. Key Responsibilities Account Management & Client Development Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned healthcare providers (hospitals, clinics, laboratories, etc.). Maintain and strengthen long-term relationships with key clients to maximize retention and satisfaction. Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities to expand business within existing accounts. Conduct regular business reviews with clients to assess performance, gather feedback, and propose service enhancements. Business Growth & Sales Execution Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets in the assigned territory. Identify and pursue new business opportunities with potential healthcare providers and institutions. Prepare and deliver effective sales presentations and proposals tailored to client needs. Collaborate with internal departments (operations, claims, IT, and customer service) to ensure smooth onboarding and service delivery. Market & Competitor Intelligence Monitor market trends, competitor offerings, and client needs to identify growth opportunities. Provide market insights and feedback to management to support business strategy and service development. Performance & Reporting Track, analyze, and report on key account metrics, sales performance, and market activities. Maintain accurate records in the CRM system, including client interactions, opportunities, and forecasts. Qualifications & Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Marketing, or related field. Minimum of 1–3 years of experience in sales or account management within the healthcare, insurance, or medical services sectors. Strong knowledge of medical claims processes, healthcare networks, and provider relations. Proven track record in achieving sales targets and managing key accounts. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems. Ability to travel within the assigned territory as required.
