We are currently recruiting for a Full Time Marketing Executive to join our growing team here at Kilkea Castle. Kilkea Castle Hotel is a 140 bedroom resort set on 180 acres of landscape, gardens and ancient woodland. This family-owned and managed estate offers a tranquil spa, a challenging 18-hole championship golf course and a world-class culinary experience. They will be responsible for driving brand visibility, managing content, and supporting revenue-generating initiatives.

They will work independently as well as part of a team, take initiative, and bring creativity to everything they do. Ideal CandidateThis role is perfect for someone whos ready to step up who has moved past assistant-level tasks and is eager to build their marketing career with autonomy. You are a storyteller, a doer, and a creative thinker. You understand the value of brand and know how to connect it to performance.

Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and execute content for digital platforms including the website, social media, and email newslettersManage the day-to-day running of Kilkea Castles social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok), including calendar creation, post scheduling, caption writing, and engagementSupport paid advertising campaigns in collaboration with media partners (PPC, Meta, display)Liaise with photographers, videographers, and graphic designers to create on-brand visual contentUpdate and maintain the website, ensuring SEO best practices and timely promotion of offers and eventsCollaborate with the Sales team to promote weddings, group stays, golf events, and seasonal packagesAssist with influencer relations, media visits, and partnership opportunitiesMonitor marketing performance using tools like Google Analytics, Meta Insights, and Mailchimp, reporting key metrics to the Director of SalesEnsure consistency across all marketing touchpoints in line with Kilkea Castles premium positioningSkills/RequirementsMinimum 1218 months experience in the marketing department of a hotelStrong understanding of digital marketing and content creationConfident using platforms such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Meta Business Suite, WordPress, and MailchimpExcellent writing and communication skills with an eye for tone, detail, and storytellingHighly organised, self-motivated, and capable of working with minimal supervisionA team player who collaborates across departments while owning marketing outputDegree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, or similar field (desirable)Minimum 12 months valid work permit requiredBenefitsDiscounts across entire resortMeals while on dutyEmployee recognitionBike to Work schemeEmployee Assistance Programme and PRSA schemeContinuous training and developmentKilkea Castle is an equal opportunities employer
