Job PurposeThe successful candidate will be responsible to control, coordinate and reconcile all stock movement, to ensure warehouse performance and KPI standards are met, and all stock control procedures adhered to.
Specific Duties and ResponsibilitiesApply minimum standards, processes and operating instructions for stock management and inventory control as per the ABF Sugar Outbound Logistics Way, Group minimum standards and country-specific requirementsPlan, lead and conduct relevant cycle, weekly, monthly, planned, and unplanned stock counts as per Group / country specific requirementsReconcile system to physical stock on hand and investigate all variances, including reconciliation of sugar, molasses, de-lumping plant sugar, packing materials as required by the siteConduct daily CCTV and weighbridge reconciliations (where applicable)Provide input into the execution and monitoring of Min / Max stock management in support of Depot Replenishment PlanningCoordinate the timely and accurate capturing of all inventory processes, including capturing of verified stock count transactions in the SAP systemCo-ordinate and oversee all stock receipts, issues and internal movementsAssist with stock placement to maximize warehouse capacity utilizationConduct quality checks and manage product quality from production / mill warehouse, including the generation of monthly quality metric reports and movement of damaged stock to the correct locationConduct regular systems checks in SAP and lead the close of action thereofMonitor inventory stacks and ensure compliance with the stacking guidelinesConsistently track and manage inventory control performance to standard and display all relevant KPI’s to build team understanding, commitment and performanceSupport Warehouse Manager in authorization of timesheets as requiredCoach and conduct on the job training of team members to ensure competence against standards, SOPs, and skills requiredIdentify opportunities and make suggestions for warehouse improvementsSupport, guide and supervise the ongoing compliance with SHERQ and housekeeping standards and requirementsPromote and adhere to Kilombero procedures, policies, and guidelines, including, without limitation, those relating to SHERQ, Competition Law and Anti-Bribery and Corruption (ABC)Job Qualification and ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Logistics, Warehousing, Inventory Control or equivalent2-3 years’ stock, stores or warehouse admin experienceMicrosoft Office packages proficientLeadership skills with ability to influence, empower, guide and develop othersGood communication skillsTerms of Service:
