Compliance Officer

Kina Bank is seeking a highly motivated Compliance Officer to support the implementation of our Compliance Risk Management Framework and promote a culture of ethical conduct. KEY RESPONSIBILITIESThe core functions of the position are as follows but not limited to: Support implementation and maintenance of a robust Compliance Risk management Framework to ensure adherence to all applicable laws, regulations and internal policies.

Monitor regulatory developments and advise senior management on potential impacts and necessary adjustments. Conduct regular compliance risk assessments and establish effective controls to mitigate risks. Conduct control testingEngage with internal and external stakeholders on compliance monitoring, audits, and reporting processes; ensure timely resolution of identified issues. Support liaison with regulatory authorities and external auditors. Provide regulatory reporting including Executive Committee, and Board reporting to line managerAssist to design and deliver compliance training programs to staff and ensure a culture of compliance across the Kina Securities Limited and its subsidiaries. Promote Kina’s values and compliance culture.

ESSENTIAL COMPETENCIES AND EXPERIENCEBachelor’s Degree or higher in finance, business, or law. Minimum 5 years’ experience in compliance and risk management. Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and governance standards locally and internationally. Proven analytical capability in data analysis and reporting in the compliance risk context. Great problem solving skills. Excellent written and communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
