Kina Bank is seeking a detail-oriented Policy Officer to support the development, maintenance, and oversight of our Policy Governance Framework. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in structured environments, has a flair for analysis of legislative and regulatory frameworks, exhibits proficient writing ability, enjoys document control, confidence to deliver training programs and wants to contribute to a strong compliance culture across the organization. KEY RESPONSIBILITIESThe core functions of the position are as follows but not limited to: Administer the Policy Governance Framework, ensuring consistency and version control.
Maintain a library of approved policies and procedures. Undertake reviews of policies, procedures and contribute to new policy development in a timely manner. Provide compliance reviews of all new laws, regulatory standards, guidance or directives for Management and embedding into internal governance documents. Support compliance monitoring and risk assessments. Assist in regulatory reporting and stakeholder engagement. Provide advisory support and assist in compliance training programs. ESSENTIAL COMPETENCIES AND EXPERIENCEBachelor’s Degree or higher in law, finance, business. Minimum 5 years’ experience in compliance, corporate law, policy writing, or risk management. Excellent writing and communication skills.
Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and governance standards. Excellent document management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
