We are seeking a Junior Software Engineer focused on building data pipelines to join our team at KPI Sight. You will assist in building and maintaining data pipelines. This is an entry-level position ideal for individuals looking to grow their skills in data engineering and analytics. Our pipeline stack is Python, Prefect, and BigQuery. The data sources are miscellaneous 3rd party APIs, Google Sheets, Google Drive, and CSV/Excel sheets stored on SFTP servers. All pipelines are batch (no streaming). We're a small but growing startup in the automotive analytics space.
Job is contract ~2-3 months with possibility for extension. We're looking for someone available to work approx 30hrs/wk. Job is mostly remote but we meet once every week or two at a coffee shop in downtown Toronto to work in person.
