PATENT ENGINEERResponsibilities of the Role Identifying patent-related topics from concept to industrializationActing as the point of contact for product innovations and inventionsLeading technical patent projectsConducting patent research (FTO and state-of-the-art analysis)Analyzing and responding to examination reportsAdvising internal departments on patent law and strategies to avoid infringementsClosely collaborating with external patent attorneys (filings, oppositions, and appeals)Monitoring competitors' patentsManaging and providing strategic advice on patent portfolio developmentIdeal Candidate Higher technical educationSeveral years of experience in technical patent managementFluent Latvian and English (spoken and written)Analytical and strategic mindsetAbility to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teamsThis is a challenging leadership role in a dynamic, international environment.
