Job Description

THIS POSITION IS BASED IN KLK OLEO, LOCATED IN MUTIARA DAMANSARA, PETALING JAYA, SELANGORRole and ResponsibilitiesLeading all aspects of new business development activities, including strategy development & tactical execution, setting account goals and objectives, and driving effort to achieve them. Identifying key decision makers & developing strong relationships that support retention and translate into new revenue opportunities, programs to retain and grow existing accounts. Act as primary point of contact between the company and key customers, implement plans aimed at business retention and improve customer satisfaction.

Understand and keep track of changing key customer needs and business environments to ensure the most appropriate support is provided to fulfil key customers’ needs and the information is used to adjust our tactical plans. To manage distributors and lead/guide them to achieve key deliverables. To liaise with the internal department to maximize sales opportunities. Job Success RequirementsIdeal candidate should possess a minimum Degree in Chemistry/Chemical Engineering with 5 – 7 years in the Chemical industry. Alternatively, Degree in Business Administration with an affinity and understanding of the chemical/technical business environment. Exposure in handling clients from different cultural background.

Exposure in supply chain management is a must. Experience in Oleochemical or related industry is an added advantage. Candidate who has engineering/production background is encouraged to apply. Sales negotiation - able to enhance values for the company. Ability to influence and successfully lead in a fast-paced environment. Global savvy, have an international frame of mind and awareness for cultural diversity. Dynamic builder of relationships with key customers and operations.
