The position is based under KLK OLEO located in Mutiara Damansara, Petaling Jaya, Selangor. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIESBuild and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers. Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand market share. Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities. Negotiate contracts and close deals to meet or exceed sales goals. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project delivery. JOB SUCCESS REQUIREMENTSBachelor's degree in Chemistry/ Chemical Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
Fluent in English, Bahasa Malaysia, both verbal and written. Able to speak and write in Mandarin would be an added advantage. Strong understanding of chemical/oleochemical products and their applications. Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Possess own transport and willingness to travel as needed. ADDITIONAL NOTES/DESIRABLE SKILLSStrong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges. Experience with international sales and export processes. Knowledge of regulatory requirements in the oleochemical industry. Ability to analyse sales data and market trends to make informed decisions.
