Check out their open roles!Job DescriptionAs a KYC Operator, you will play a crucial role in client onboarding and the continuous review of customer information throughout their lifecycle. You will be responsible for gathering, verifying, and updating client data to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal guidelines. Your attention to detail and operational efficiency will help protect the company from financial crime risks such as money laundering, sanctions breaches, and other compliance issues.Key ResponsibilitiesClient Onboarding: Collect, review, and validate KYC documents from new clients to ensure a smooth and compliant onboarding process.KYC File Updates: Monitor and update client records throughout their relationship with the company, especially during changes or triggering events.Periodic Reviews: Conduct regular checks tailored to the client's risk level to ensure information remains accurate and up to date.Alert Management (Sanctions, PEP, OFAC, etc.): Analyze and handle alerts related to sanctions lists, politically exposed persons (PEP), OFAC, and other regulatory lists, escalating sensitive cases as needed.Screening of Payment Instrument Users: Perform checks on users of payment instruments to detect any suspicious activities or risks.Remediation: Manage and correct deficiencies or anomalies identified during KYC checks, working with clients and internal teams to ensure prompt resolution.Daily collaboration with clients, Revenue, Support, and Compliance teams to ensure smooth onboarding and adherence to KYC requirements.What We're Looking ForEssential experience needed1 to 2 years of experience in KYC, compliance, or as an AML (Anti-Money Laundering) analystFluent professional English is a mustDegree such as BTS Banque, Licence, or equivalent (at least 2 years of higher education)Specialization or experience in law, finance, or risk management is a plusAdditional AssetsHands-on experience with regulatory or compliance processesOperational experience in a start-up or fast-paced environmentTechnical Skills (tools & Software)Proficiency with KYC/back-office tools (e.g., ComplyAdvantage)Experience with Jira and Gsuite is a plusAs we are an international team, please submit your application and CV in English.About SpendeskSpendesk is the AI-powered spend management and procurement platform that transforms company spending.
