Your mission…As the Category Growth Manager in the Consumer Products Division (CPD), you will be accountable for the growth and development of your category at retailer and country level. You identify & leverage growth opportunities in collaboration with the retailer partners through deep market analysis and actionable category insights. You will drive & leverage all RGM levers to fuel growth in the category. The role reports to the Business Development Manager.
You will…Following the Nordic Growth Strategy, define plan for category growth at local market and top tier retailer’s levelBuild locally relevant Category Growth story and support in joint business plans with top tier clients.
Analyze Category Performance and gather local Category Shopper Insights on monthly basisIdentify assortment gaps and opportunities (white spaces, listings) within market, define listing targets per sales cycleDefine listing targets and map category development needs for top tier retailersDrive the category space & assortment priorities into client reality together with Category Development Manager and Commercial teamDevelop strong category trade story with identified listing targets and category projectsAdapt the brand HYM deck into locally relevant trade story and present to top local clients in collaboration with KAMsBe responsible for local market Revenue Growth Management projects (pricing, promo policies, co-joints)Be responsible for developing local business cases using category analysis and P&L analysisYour profile.

You have a relevant University/business school degree and a minimum of 3 years of experience in Sales, Category Management or Marketing within a leading FMCG companyStrong analytical skills and performance driveCommercial and financial understanding is valuedCombines strategic thinking with executional excellence, good eye for detailsExperience with Swedish shoppers and retailersHas a proven track record of implementation of initiatives with rigorous excellenceHas the ability to adapt in an ever-changing environmentYou are fluent in a Nordic language and EnglishCreative, out-of-the-box mindset and enjoys being out of the comfort zoneHas strong communication skills and enjoys working in a multicultural and diverse teamWe are looking for you to start as soon as possible and the employment is fixed-term, approximately 1 year.
