At Lab Digital, we're looking for a Lead React Native Developer who wants to help us build out our product portfolio with mobile app development. About The RoleAt Lab Digital, we strive to make a positive impact by creating outstanding digital products for our clients, including global e-commerce platforms, content websites, and high-traffic middleware solutions, all based on cloud-native technology and often combined with headless SaaS products.

We build software for clients on top of our product Evolve, a platform for building composable commerce solutions. With Evolve we have a NextJS storefront driven by a federated GraphQL setup resulting in high performance platforms that work with various touchpoints. Next, we’re building mobile app features into Evolve to better serve our clients. As our ideal candidate, you're not just skilled in building mobile apps – you have a vision and understand the importance of collaborative development. Working alongside our UX and design team, you bring digital concepts to life, ensuring every product resonates with its intended audience.

The teams at Lab Digital consist of developers, (UX) designers, QA specialists, business analysts, solution architects, scrum masters and project managers. Together with your multidisciplinary team, in close collaboration with our clients, you share responsibility and contribute to the success of the team and client with a friendly positive approach. What You DoIn this role you work with your team to realize technical solutions that fit the demand. You bring substantial features independently from concept to production. This means that you are responsible for, among other things: Developing and maintaining React Native apps, focusing on performance and user experience.

Work on building out a great developer experience and well thought out SDLC. Creating well-documented component libraries using tools like Storybook, emphasizing code reusability. Supporting teammates in their work and provide feedback in a well-structured manner. Helping define and improve our internal standards regarding code style, maintainability and scalability, among others. Working with clients to train and support their in-house development teams and stakeholders in working with our products. What You BringWe expect you to be able to demonstrate: At least 5 years of demonstrated experience in implementing production-level projects in JavaScript/TypeScript with a focus on React Native.

Know the ins-and-outs of app stores (Apple, Google Play) and the release processes involved. Experience with app deployments at scale, including handling push notifications and events. Fluent in Dutch and English highly preferred. Don't feel you meet 100% of the requirements?
