This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic laboratory expert to contribute to the advancement of biocatalytic processes that drive innovation and sustainability in pharmaceutical manufacturing.Main ResponsibilitiesExecute standard molecular biology workflows including library construction, colony picking, and next-generation sequencing in a high-throughput format.Operate and maintain high-throughput robotic platforms and laboratory equipment.Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensure accurate documentation and systematic data archiving.Critically assess and troubleshoot experimental workflows across all process stages, proposing improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability.Analyze data and communicate results clearly and efficiently, including thorough interpretation and documentation.Qualifications and ExperienceCompleted apprenticeship as Lab Technician or BSc/MSc in Molecular Biology, ideally with experience in protein biochemistry.Hands-on experience in molecular biology techniques and familiarity with multi-tasking repetitive laboratory operations.Proficient in conducting molecular biology experiments, interpreting data, and suggesting workflow improvements.Desirable:Experience in enzymology and biotransformation; understanding of chemical composition and processes.Practical experience with cloning, recombinant protein expression, and/or genetic library generation.Familiarity with automated laboratory systems and high-throughput technologies.Knowledge of biocatalytic transformations and protein engineering concepts.Exposure to library analysis using next-generation sequencing (NGS).Interested?Please apply online or contact by email Vanessa Gilardoni at vanessa.gilardoni@ctcresourcing.com
