Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Microbiology, or related scientific field (e.g.Biochemistry, Chemical EngineeringLicensed Chemist or Licensed Microbiologist (PRC) is requiredMinimum of 8 years of relevant in analytical or testing laboratories, with at least 5years in a managerial roleDemonstrated experience in managing both Chemical/Physical and Microbiologytesting operations.Proven leadership in laboratories accredited under ISO/IEC 17025, includingpreparation for audits, proficiency testing, method validation, and compliancemonitoring.Experience in resource planning, workload management, and performanceoptimization across multiple testing unitsSolid background in quality management systems, instrument calibration and GoodLaboratory Practices (GLP)Technical Competencies:Strong knowledge of ISO 17025 requirements and audit processesAnalytical chemistry techniques (e.g. chromatography, spectroscopy, titration)Microbiological testing methods for food, environmental, or industrial samplesLaboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) and data integrity standardsSkilled in method development, validation, and uncertainty measurementFamiliar with health, safety, and environmental regulations applicable to testinglaboratoriesDuties and Responsibilities: Operational Leadership & Compliance Partner with Tower Leads to drive operational processes, compliance, and customer fulfillment. Ensure smooth workflow of laboratory operations, from test request intake to final reporting, in line with company standards and regulatory requirements. Maintain adherence to good laboratory practices, safety standards, and housekeeping protocols. Financial & Business Management Manage the P&L of the business lines, ensuring profitability and cost efficiency. Approve and monitor inventory levels and capital expenditures to optimize utilization and control costs. Support business development through project assessments, feasibility studies, and collaboration with sales and marketing teams to achieve revenue targets. People Leadership & Development Lead, manage, and develop laboratory personnel, ensuring productivity, efficiency, and engagement. Conduct performance appraisals, identify training needs, and implement career development programs. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Customer Engagement & Technical Support Act as primary technical support representative, addressing client inquiries, concerns, and service requirements. Build and maintain strong client relationships by delivering timely, accurate, and high-quality services. Conduct company presentations and client technical trainings, as required. Continuous Improvement & Innovation Monitor and analyze laboratory results and operational outcomes, recommending improvements as necessary. Stay updated on industry and technical developments; ensure best practices are implemented and shared with the team. Drive operational excellence initiatives that enhance service quality, turnaround time, and customer satisfaction. Strategic Planning & Vision Develop and execute the vision, goals, and long-term plans for laboratory and operational growth. Align operational strategies with overall business objectives to ensure sustainable success. Perform other relevant duties as assigned by the Managing Director.
