Laboratory Operations Manager

About the CompanyLead a high-performing laboratory operation with full accountability for P&L, client relationships, technical excellence, service diversification, and on-time delivery. Serve as the face of the business for customers and regulators, while developing a safe, inclusive, and high-integrity culture across a multinational team. This position reports directly to the Country Manager – Testing and will interface with key clients across the KingdomAbout the RoleTesting will include; Soils, aggregates, concrete, asphalt, steel reinforcement, geotechnical tests, mix designs (Marshall/Superpave). Standards: ASTM, AASHTO, BS/EN.ResponsibilitiesFull P&L ownership: revenue, margin, EBITDA, working capital.Client relations: manage large accounts (Aramco, Ma’aden, Ministry of Transport, EPCs).Technical governance: ISO/IEC 17025 compliance, method validity.Service diversification and growth.Financing and budgeting.Multicultural team leadership (Pakistani, Indian, Saudi Arabian, Filipino).Integrity, ethics, and compliance.Operational excellence: TAT, quality, safety. QualificationsBachelor’s in Engineering/Science; Master’s preferred.10–15 years experience; More than 5 years in lab operations leadership with P&L responsibility.Strong client-facing communication; English required; Arabic preferred.Middle East experience highly desirable.Familiarity with LIMS/ERP and ISO standards. Required SkillsFinancial: Revenue, Margin, EBITDA.Operational: On-Time Delivery, TAT.Quality: Audit compliance, zero major findings.Safety: TRIR, LTI.Client: NPS, renewal rate.People: Engagement, retention.
