Laboratory Technician

The ideal candidate will ensure accurate, timely processing of patient samples, support our doctors and nurses with high-standard laboratory operations, and uphold ZenDXB’s commitment to medical precision and premium patient care.Key ResponsibilitiesSample Collection & ProcessingCollect and label blood, urine, and other biological specimens in accordance with proper medical standards and safety protocols.Prepare, centrifuge, and store samples for local and international partner laboratories.Maintain strict chain-of-custody and ensure accurate sample tracking in patient management systems (e.g., Practo or equivalent).Perform point-of-care testing (POCT) for relevant parameters as required.Laboratory OperationsEnsure all equipment (centrifuges, refrigerators, analyzers) is properly maintained, calibrated, and logged.Adhere to infection control, biosafety, and HAAD/DHA regulations at all times.Support procurement and inventory management of lab supplies, reagents, and consumables.Assist in reviewing and verifying laboratory results before reporting to physicians.Quality & ComplianceFollow DHA/DOH licensing standards and ensure all documentation is up to date.Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in accordance with ZenDXB and data-protection guidelines.Participate in internal quality control (IQC) and external quality assurance (EQA) programmes.Cross-Team CollaborationWork closely with nurses and doctors to coordinate lab tests linked to customised IV therapy, peptide, or longevity treatment plans.Communicate any abnormal or urgent results promptly to the medical team.Support health campaigns, wellness screenings, and VIP homecare visits when required.Qualifications & SkillsBachelor’s degree or diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology or equivalent.Valid DHA / DOH / MOH license (or eligibility letter).Minimum 2 years’ experience in a medical laboratory or wellness clinic setting.Strong technical skills in sample handling, centrifugation, and lab safety.Excellent attention to detail and accuracy under time constraints.Strong communication and teamwork abilities.Proficiency with basic computer systems and EMR/HMS software (Practo, Okadoc, etc.).Personality FitCalm, precise, and professional with patients.Reliable and organised with a strong sense of responsibility.Maintains the premium service standards expected at ZenDXB.Interested in wellness, longevity, and preventative medicine.What We OfferCompetitive salary and performance incentives.Modern, supportive, and innovative clinical environment.Opportunities for continuous professional development.Staff wellness benefits including complimentary IV therapies and discounts.Compensation & BenefitsAED 7,000 basic salary Full-time: 48 hours per week (5 days on, 2 days off)Supportive team environment in a luxury medical wellness setting.If you are passionate about patient care and have outstanding IV cannulation skills, we’d love to hear from you.
