Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Attorney at Law to join our legal department. Our new colleague in this position shall offer professional advice, ensuring the excellent legal support of our Group, while simultaneously keeping in mind our commercial & financial targets. The Legal Manager shall be working in the team of the Chief Legal and Compliance Counsel. In detail, the ​Legal Manager will provide legal support in various matters, including:

Providing legal advice & support on the Group on a wide range of transactions with financial institutions, in Greece and abroad (such as project finance, re-financings, acquisition financings, corporate and financial restructurings, intra-group lending, debt/equity listed products)Drafting and negotiating for a full range of financial transactions (loan agreements, intercreditor agreements, security documents, waiver requests, legal opinions, corporate approvals, memos summarizing legal terms that businesspeople can use), by also arranging and coordinating the signing and loan drawdown process, CPs satisfaction as well as the registration, amendments and release of loan securities (mortgages, share pledges etc.

)Working closely with Groups’ finance and other departments, external legal advisors, banks, other parties involved in the transactions and regulatory/supervising authoritiesSupporting the legal department on all corporate matters (set-up/transformation/dissolution of Group companies, companies bookkeeping, drafting the necessary corporate resolutions for Groups’ obligations, obtaining certificates, corporate and statutory approvals)Reviewing & negotiating custom-made agreements for the Groups’ business, by also improving standard forms of agreements that the Group has already in place, so that they can be fully aligned with Group’s policies.

You will be a successful candidate for our job opening, if you can identify yourself with the following criteria: Academic Qualifications & Professional Experience: Bachelor’s degree in law and an LL.

M with a specialization in commercial law areas (preferably in Corporate, Banking & Finance Law, Corporate Finance, Capital Markets)At least 7-10 years' working experience as an in-house lawyer, out of which at least 5 years are preferably in the Banking/project finance sector or alternatively in a law firm specialized in such projectsDemonstrable experience in commercial law, company law and banking/financeExperience in dealing with complex legal issues with significant financial impactExcellent command of the English languageOn a personal side, the ideal candidate has:
