The diverse product offerings at AlphaGraphics requires an ability to learn a variety of techniques and technologies including printing, finishing, vinyl, wraps, sign application, and installation. Our Large Format Specialist will be responsible for all facets of digital print production including the use, management, and maintenance of our large format printers and finishing equipment. More than anything, we’re looking for highly-collaborative and dependable teammates that are driven by the opportunity to contribute to the success of a local business. This is a full-time position.About The CompanyAs an established leader in the Print, Signs, Banners, Design Services, Promotional Products for area industries, our mission is to partner with small to large customers and provide them the tools and expertise needed to grow their business.Responsibilities include:Operate large format printers and finishing equipmentDigital Print Production as neededOperate Post-Press EquipmentLarge Format & Sign Finishing with Installation when necessaryUnderstanding of Large Format Design and execution is a plus but not required: setting up files for cut vinyl, analyzing files for large signage, understanding of differences in substrates including vehicle graphics, wraps, and custom vinyl installations is also beneficialOther essential functions needed to provide the highest quality customer service and product outputQualifications:The drive and ability to learnPositive, professional attitudeStrong work ethic and problem solving skills are criticalMust be willing and capable of learning new methods and technologiesCooperative interpersonal skillsDemonstrated ability to work quickly and neatly while multi-tasking - strong multi-tasking abilityBasic math skills and ability to use a computerAbility to lift 50 lbs safely and work at a table over waist highEffective Communication Skills (oral and written)Ability to follow instructions and prioritize workload while staying organizedAdditional RequirementsHigh School Diploma or equivalentFamiliarity with current signs, print and copy technology (highly desirable)Working knowledge of computer technologyPositive “can do” attitudePay is commensurate with experience.
