Laundry Attendant

JOB SUMMARY:We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our hospitality team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all hotel linen, uniforms, and guest laundry are cleaned, folded, and distributed efficiently. This role is vital in maintaining high standards of hygiene and guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate will be reliable, efficient, and familiar with industrial laundry operations and safety procedures.JOB QUALIFICATIONS:Training Certificate in Housekeeping/Hospitality2 years of experience in Laundry operations or housekeepingKnowledge of commercial laundry machines, equipment, and detergents.Recommendation letter is a MUSTGood communication skillsJOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Sort, wash, dry, iron, fold, and package hotel linen, uniforms, and guest laundry.Operate industrial washers, dryers, pressing, and ironing equipment safely and efficiently.Inspect linen for stains, tears, or damage and take corrective action.Maintain accurate records of laundry inventory and report shortages or damages.Deliver clean linen promptly to housekeeping, food & beverage, and other hotel departments.Ensure proper handling and care of guest laundry items.Follow all health, safety, and hygiene guidelines in the laundry area.Keep laundry area clean, organized, and safe at all times.Assist with training new or junior staff in laundry procedures when required.Support housekeeping and other departments during peak occupancy periods.
