We are client-centric, providing practical and solution-focused legal advice. Role OverviewWe’re bringing on a lawyer to take ownership of commercial agreements for our clients, and to provide a space for that lawyer to develop expertise in a niche area, grow their practice and business, and be part of a tight-knit team.We know that “fit” can take many forms. Our priorities are effective communication and high-quality work for our clients.If you are a junior, we will mentor you and ensure you feel supported. If you are more experienced, we will work with you to find a structure and opportunities that work for you.We are a fully remote office. You’re an adult; we trust you to take care of your business.We are an equal opportunity employer and encourage individuals from diverse backgrounds to apply.What You’ll OwnNegotiating contracts between various companies and commercial partners.Coordinating with clients to triage agreements and ensure consistent and clear communication.Managing ownership of multiple contracts and deadlines.Maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with professionalism.Supporting our firm and taking on projects in the gambling, media, and entertainment spaces.Continuously building and disseminating industry knowledge. Your ProfileYou are fluent in English, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Fluency in Spanish is an asset, but not required.You have direct experience negotiating commercial contracts.You have a demonstrated interest in gaming, payments, media, entertainment, or a related field. Experience in one or more of these fields is preferred.You have excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.You have a high attention to detail and accuracy.You are proficient in using any computer applications and software necessary for remote work.You’re excited to join a small, ambitious team that is shaping the future of gaming in Canada and beyond.LogisticsScope: Full-timeLocation: RemoteCompensation: To be discussed.
