Job offer - Lead AI scientist   Matricis.ai is on a mission to bring deep learning to women’s health. We are developing the first AI models for diagnosis in gynecology, to improve routine care and accelerate clinical research. We spin-off from INRIA, and AP-HP. Step one is endometriosis detection. Endometriosis is a gynecological condition that affects up to 10% of women in the world, yet, 60% of cases are missed in routine MRI scans and patients undergo an average of 10 years of medical errancy before getting diagnosed.The team currently consists of four members: two founders,  Raphaelle (CEO) and Elise (COO), a Lead Software Engineer, Alexandre, and a Head of Radiology, Laure. We are now looking to expand our technical team by hiring a second engineer to work closely with Alexandre and help accelerate our machine learning development. In this role, you will also oversee a junior AI scientist. Train new models and fine-tune existing ones to improve performance on our flagship product for detecting gynecological conditions in MRI scans.Develop and contribute to tools for model training, evaluation, validation, and monitoring.Prepare trained models for deployment in production environments.Lead R&D projects and publish scientific research reports and papers.Supervise the AI research team.Report progress, key findings, and technical challenges to the management team, contributing to strategic decision-making.Who you are ? PhD in Machine Learning, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.At least 5 years of hands-on experience in computer vision. Experience of medical image analysis would be a strong plus.Strong background in working with 3D imaging data.Proficient in PyTorch.Management experience is a strong plus.Fluent in English, both written and spoken.What are the conditions?Contract: Permanent (CDI), 100% Salary benefits: meal vouchers and 100% health insurance coverageLocation: Paris officeCompensation: 60-70K€ + ESOP/BSPCE package Contacts : elise.mekkaoui@matricis.ai (co-founder & COO) - Cover letter required
