Lead Clinical Research Coordinator, Clinical Trials & Research Unit (2-year contract)

Responsibilities:Be a part of the operational team in CTRUManages and supervises a team of Clinical Research Coordinators in providing research support to the CGH research community including providing on the job training for junior colleagues, leads and mentors them to ensure smooth and efficient daily operationWorks closely with Principal Investigator (PI), study team members, sponsor representatives, colleagues, etc to support research initiatives and activities to achieve CGH’s research visionSupports and provides guidance on the administration and conduct of research projects, to ensure compliance to applicable regulations and policiesEnsures every study budget is sufficient for its intended purposes, project funds expensed within budget, following proper financial policies/guideline and timely and accurate reimbursement to subjectsSpearheads complex research projects, develops study specific documents and assists in the overall planning for the conduct of the studyPrepares and handles study specific audit and/or inspection and initiates internal and external studies quality control activitiesDraft, review and implement department’s Standing Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions. Ensure that these are updated to reflect current practices and regulatory requirements.To take on projects as assigned from time to timeRequirements:Degree in Nursing with valid Singapore Nursing Board (SNB) practising certificate, or Degree in Life Science / Pharmaceutical Science/Clinical Trials ManagementAt least 7 years’ experience in clinical research activitiesBilingual and/or proficient in local dialectsMeticulous and focusedAble to multi-task with good time management skillsGood people management skillsGood team player
