Job Responsibilities :To provide engineering expertise in (Electrical/Civil/Mechanical) discipline for product development, Detailed Engineering, Value engineering, Developing standard drawings / specifications and resolutions on maintenance related issues.Strive to achieve sustainable designs for safe operations in line with business goals and Q&Q proposition of business. No. Key Accountabilities 1 Maximise customer satisfaction( internal & external) and take corrective action on feedback 2 Manage cost and design / implement profit improvement opportunities Modifying design & specifications for reduction in cost Develop Vendors for New Initiatives & Roll Out 3 Adoption of technology solutions to gain competitive advantage New products evaluation and recommendation for adaptability for cost effectiveness 4 Requirements Engineer and implement projects to meet business requirements Prepare design basis Develop standard engineering drawings / specifications based on design basis Timely completion of project within prescribed budget and agreed norms of quality and HSE Resolution to site specific / vendor query Support to EAC on technical matters Carry out Detailed engineering Technical evaluation of vendors 5 Asset management to enhance reliability & productivity Providing technical solutions related to maintenance Stay abreast of developments in technology / industry / competition and adopt / innovate to give competitive edge to business and strive for customer delight Carry out root cause analysis for equipment failures and recommend corrective action. Periodic interactions with stake holders to address gaps 6 Process Management towards Operational Excellence Update and write new process Analyse for deviations by site audits and suggest mitigation plan 7 People development for enhanced capability &productivity Sharing of domain knowledge Developing training modules and conduct training programs Create in house competency to meet all engineering needs of petroleum business. Knowledge sharing - Domain / Cross functional, Best practices, Technical Bulletins, News Letters, attending conferences 8 Bring focus and continually improve practices related to EHS Review & incorporate safety aspects /checks in existing designs & ensure awareness by available communication avenues. Perform root cause analysis of accidents / near miss reports; implement corrective actions to avoid recurrence.Education Requirement : Engineering Graduate ( Civil/Mechanical/Electrical)Experience Requirement : Above 8-10 years of experience Experience in a reputed engineering consultancy firm. Knowledge of Indian and international codes Skills & Competencies :Domain knowledge holderKeep update knowledge on the technological developmentsAnalytical thinking and problem solving ability.Expert knowledge in the respective discipline and statutory compliance
