A Snapshot of Your DayAs the Lead Electrical Engineer, you'll manage the team in execution projects in power generation and EPC market. You'll also lead the execution of electrical sub systems/components of power plant projects - e.g., high voltage switchyard, transformers, medium- and low voltage systems, etc.How You'll Make An ImpactProposal engineering: evaluation and commenting of customer specification, customers questionnaire, deviations, compilation of proposal documents, cost calculations.Preparation of the time schedule for the electrical scope of works.Supervision of deadlines, quality, and costs and all the resources needed.Responsible for claim management and negotiations, trouble shooting and the design review process.Preparation of affiliated documents e.g. Overall Single Line Diagram.Preparation of technical specifications and inquiry documentation.Participation in engineering and optimization of interfaces.Coordination of the preparation of required documentation such as erection and O&M-Manuals.Review of contractors engineering.Supervision of contractor time schedules and costs.Lead the electrical erection contractors with project and site requirements.What You BringBachelor's degree or equivalent experience, preferable within the field of electrical engineering Minimum 8 years’ experience from the power generation and EPC marketKnowledge about Building Information Modeling (BIM) methodology, related software & tools, data exchange strategies and BIM processesStrategic orientation with a detailed knowledge of products, services, and markets of industrial power plant & CHP solution business such as switchyards, transformers and generatorsCustomer focus: capability of changing perspectives and adapting strategies and actions to the dynamic environmentAbility to positively lead project teams to provide the best solutions regarding budget, quality and timeIntercultural sensitivity, to work in (virtual) international teamCapability to lead multi-functional and cross-product line initiatives, domestically and internationallySelf-motivation with high energy drive and business senseCapability of multitasking, with excellent organizational skills while assuring a high-quality work processWillingness for business travels with international contactsProficiency in EnglishAbout The TeamThe Project Entity Team is responsible for the first-class execution and successful implementation of complex projects in all Siemens Energy business units.
