Together, we are building a bank by Malaysians, for Malaysians.About the RoleAs a Lead Frontend Engineer, you will be a pivotal member of our product-centric engineering team, driving the development of seamless, intuitive, and high-performing digital banking experiences. In this role, you will lead by example—writing clean, scalable, and maintainable code—while also collaborating closely with product, design, and backend teams to deliver impactful features. You will be responsible for setting technical direction, optimizing frontend architecture, and mentoring a team of engineers to uphold engineering excellence across our platforms.We are looking for a proactive and experienced frontend engineer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can mentor junior developers while driving technical excellence. Here, your ideas and contributions will directly impact the success of Malaysia’s next-generation digital bank.Your Impact:Redefine Banking Experiences: Develop intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces that make banking accessible and enjoyable for Malaysians.Deliver High-Quality Solutions: Use modern technologies to design and optimize scalable, responsive, and high-performance frontend (mobile & web) systems.Mentor and Collaborate: Lead by example in coding best practices and help upskill team members to drive continuous improvement in our engineering culture. Key Responsibilities:Design and develop robust, scalable, and user-friendly mobile & web applications with a focus on performance and usability. Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver end-to-end features.Drive the architecture design and implementation of reusable components, optimized state management, and responsive designs. Advocate and adhere to best frontend development practices, including testing, code reviews, and documentation.Mentor and manage junior engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and growth.
