Lead Monitoring ExpertWe are looking for an experienced Lead Monitoring / Observability Expert to join a large-scale digital banking modernization project at a leading financial services provider.This is a key role where you will combine technical leadership, incident analysis, and mentoring in a modern microservices and cloud environment.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and mentor a 5-member monitoring squad within a 14-person wider engineering environmentDefine monitoring strategies and requirements for new applications and microservicesPerform complex incident investigations and end-to-end performance/log analysis (from frontend through middleware to database)Drive adoption of next-generation monitoring tools (Dynatrace, Azure integrations, cloud-native observability)Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineersTech EnvironmentMonitoring / Observability: Prometheus, Grafana, DynatraceCore stack: Java / Spring, OpenShift, Kubernetes, Cassandra, Oracle, .NETAdditional tools: ELK stack, Terraform / Python or other scripting, AzureWhat Makes This Role Exciting✔ Work on mission-critical digital banking systems, where monitoring is a business priority✔ Take on a true leadership position – combining strategic direction, mentoring, and hands-on technical support✔ Opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies: Dynatrace migration, cloud integrations, microservices-based environmentMust-Have SkillsStrong experience in Monitoring / Observability (Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace or equivalent APM tools)Proven track record in incident management and performance analysisSolid knowledge of containerized / microservices environments (Kubernetes, OpenShift)Experience with log analysis tools (ELK stack or similar)Hands-on experience with cloud monitoring (preferably Azure)Leadership experience: mentoring, team direction, stakeholder communication
