Job Description

PEOItaly, on behalf of a leading international EPC contractor, is seeking an experienced Lead Planner to support a major Carbon Capture & Storage (CCS) project in the Netherlands. The role involves overseeing planning activities across the entire project lifecycle and ensuring alignment with project execution strategy and performance targets.ResponsibilitiesLead and coordinate project planning across Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning phases.Develop and manage the Project Baseline, including schedule narrative, critical path analysis, histograms, and progress curves.Monitor project performance through schedule updates, progress evaluation, variance analysis, and forecasting.Set up and maintain the Progress Measurement System across all disciplines.Identify deviations, analyze impacts, define corrective actions, and monitor implementation.Support the Project Control Manager in preparing and enforcing planning, scheduling, progress measurement, and reporting procedures.Provide schedule-related input for change management, claims, and time-impact assessment.Produce detailed reports and communicate planning insights to senior management and project stakeholders.RequirementsDegree or technical diploma in Engineering or related field.Proven experience in planning within EPC, industrial, energy, or large-scale infrastructure projects.Strong knowledge of project planning principles (WBS, baseline, critical path, early/late dates, forecasting, etc.).Solid experience with progress measurement methodologies.Proficiency in Primavera P6 (mandatory) and MS Project.Strong analytical skills, precision, and attention to detail.Excellent communication and coordination abilities; experience leading/mentoring planners is considered a plus.Equal Opportunity StatementApplications from all genders and backgrounds are welcome, in compliance with current equal opportunity regulations and principles of inclusion and non-discrimination.
