Lead / Principal / Staff Mobile Engineer (React Native)

We’re looking for a mobile engineering leader!This role will work hands-on with cross-platform technologies while shaping the architectural, standards, and roadmap for apps used by a worldwide user base in the fast-moving world of digital finance. What You Will Do. Drive technical strategy for mobile across feature teams. Ensuring architectural decisions, tooling, and best practices scale Partner with product, design, and engineering leadership to shape requirements, influence user experience decisions, and ensure feasibility and technical excellence Own complex feature delivery end-to-end, from early solution design to deployment, guiding teams toward implementations Champion quality and performance, setting standards for code structure, testing practices, observability, and app reliability Mentor mobile engineers through code reviews, discussions, and technical guidance Represent the mobile discipline in cross-team forums, aligning engineering efforts and driving improvements What You Bring. Extensive experience building production-grade React Native app, strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript Native development skills in iOS-Swift and/or Android-Kotlin, would be a plus Ability to architect scalable, modular systems and guide teams through complex technical decisions Experience implementing robust testing strategies (unit, integration, E2E) Expertise with Git workflows and modern release practices (e.g., trunk-based development, CI/CD pipelines) A track record of solving problems, improving engineering efficiency, and elevating code quality across teams Strong communication skills in English A strong sense of ownership and a drive to deliver outstanding mobile experiences for users worldwide If this sounds like something you’d like to explore, apply here - or drop me a note at sandra.soenaryo@hyppies.com for a confidential chat.
