This high visibility leadership role will serve as a NPI procurement focal for the assigned SBU and large/complex suppliers. The Lead Buyer will provide surge capacity for RFQ generation and maintenance, PO generation and maintenance, FAR15 procurement metrics, DLTP burn down, OTTR improvement, PD reduction actions plans for the assigned procurement categories for the Engines SBU. This leader will also be the NPI RevCOGs focal for the assigned SBU. The Lead Buyer will create open order reports for Suppliers and work with the Place and Fulfillment buyers and leadership to drive schedule compression on NPI hardware. A great deal of coordination will be required with the with NPI Sourcing team, Sourcing Program Manager, and Director responsible for the Engines business group. You will be responsible for managing high-stress situations and maintaining transparency for stakeholders. This role is crucial to transform NPI Sourcing and requires exceptional problem solving, program management and negotiation skills.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, mentor and coach fulfillment and buying teams to achieve best in class sourcing practices to meet short term and long-term stake holder needs Drive Buyer Desk Review Assessment to all employees Projects support, with heavy emphasis on automation, follow up and compliance Executing > 95% on-time to the product/program families’ cost and schedule with Honeywell Milestone Reporting (HMR) accountability for Category 1 - Category 3 milestones Lead product family level NPI sourcing improvement initiatives to drive development speed. Coordinating the Work and Activities of Others CA Salary Range: 116,000 - 145,000MUST HAVERequires direct management experience in buying/procurement of 3-5 years Must be a US citizen or permanent resident WE VALUEBachelors degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain. Must have an executive presence in engaging with supplier at the executive level and Honeywell leadership with constructive confrontation and collaboration High tolerance for ambiguity and ability to make strategic decisions in such an environment Knowledge, skill and experience with wide range of industry standard manufacturing processes for electronics and mechanical components Possess financial acumen, understand business metrics and how to impact results with ability to do NPV, IRR, next best alternative analysis. Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate project status and program needs across different levels of the organization and different operating environments. Broad experience in operational procurement Able to resolve problems, transition and transform sourcing activities. U.s.
