This role goes beyond design execution — you will define the design process, establish documentation standards, build design systems, and mentor the design team to deliver world-class user experiences.You will collaborate closely with product management, engineering, and leadership teams to ensure our design strategy aligns with business objectives and product goals.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the design function—setting direction, standards, and best practices across all products.Define and implement scalable design processes, documentation, and quality benchmarks.Develop and maintain a unified design system to ensure consistency and efficiency across platforms.Conduct and guide user research, usability testing, and customer journey mapping.Translate complex requirements into intuitive, elegant, and user-centered experiences.Partner with Product and Engineering leadership to align design priorities with product roadmaps.Mentor and coach designers, fostering professional growth and collaboration.Champion a design-driven culture across teams — ensuring UX is considered at every stage of development.Present design strategies and outcomes effectively to senior management and stakeholders.Stay ahead of design trends, tools, and methodologies to continuously enhance design maturity.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, or related field (or equivalent experience).7+ years of professional product design experience, including 2+ years in a lead or leadership role.Demonstrated success in building or scaling a design process and design system.Strong expertise in UX, UI, interaction design, and design thinking methodologies.Proficiency with Figma, Sketch, or equivalent design and prototyping tools.Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.Proven ability to mentor and inspire cross-functional teams.Portfolio showcasing design leadership and end-to-end product impact.Nice-to-HaveExperience designing SaaS or enterprise-grade software products.Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, React) to bridge design and development.Background in user research or data-informed design.Prior experience building or leading a design team within a scaling organization.What We OfferOpportunity to build and lead the design function within a growing software company.Direct involvement in shaping the product experience strategy.Collaborative, growth-oriented environment.Competitive compensation and flexible working arrangements.
