We are a Swedish biotech company specializing in developing innovative solutions for studying in situ protein expression and interactions. With a focus and a strong legacy in developing in situ proximity ligation assay technology, Navinci has established itself as a center of excellence in the field and has a broad portfolio of products that help researchers study protein interactions in depth.We are now looking to expand our R&D team in Uppsala, Sweden. If you are passionate about science, love a dynamic and changing environment and want to be part of the team building a company – this is the role for you.About the RoleAs a Product Development Lead you will guide the development of innovative molecular tools and reagents for spatial proteomics.You will be responsible for leading product development across the full lifecycle: from feasibility, through verification and validation, to handover into production and product care. The role requires close collaboration with a project manager, scientists, operations, and leadership, providing oversight of what is being developed, what is expected, and how to anticipate future needs.This is a hands-on leadership role at the intersection of science, technology, and planning, where you will not only ensure smooth execution but also think ahead and prepare the organization for the next steps.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and coordinate product development activities across multiple projects, ensuring alignment with company goals and timelines.Provide scientific and technical guidance on assay design, conjugation, validation, and transfer to production.Maintain a comprehensive overview of ongoing development, deliveries, and upcoming milestones.Anticipate technical, resource, and process needs; adjust plans and priorities proactively.Work closely with a project manager and the leadership team to translate strategy into actionable development plans.Your ProfileWe are looking for a person who combines a strong technical interest with relevant scientific and leadership experience. As we are building a new function, we need someone with the ability to guide the team with a steady hand and create structure in a dynamic environment.This role requires a scientific background combined with the ability to see the “big picture”, ensuring that what we develop today fits into what customers and the company need tomorrow.
