Lead SAP Consultant (SAP2Store)

We are seeking a seasoned and proactive Lead SAP Consultant to spearhead a strategic global initiative aimed at modernizing the SAP landscape. This high-responsibility role focuses on the Sap2Store stream, where your leadership and expertise will ensure robust business operations, efficient transitions, and ongoing optimization of mission-critical processes. ResponsibilitiesTake a leading role in knowledge transfer sessions, guiding teams to develop a deep understanding of business processes, configurations, and custom code for Sap2StoreOversee hands-on activities in lower environments, ensuring system competencies are tested, validated, and optimizedSupervise the review, updating, and maintenance of support documentation such as SOPs and runbooks to reflect current best practicesLead efforts to ensure seamless transitions of Sap2Store functionality, prioritizing SAP Fiori, inventory workflows (scrapping, consumption, store transfers), and core modules like MM, SD, and retail transactionsDrive continual improvements in operational workflows, including stock counting, shelf reviews, and direct store delivery (DSD) processes, while providing oversight and scalable solutionsServe as the escalation point for complex incidents, ensuring timely and thorough resolution of critical Sap2Store issuesCollaborate with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to fine-tune Sap2Store processes to meet dynamic business needs and strategic goalsFacilitate shadowing and reverse shadowing phases during transitions to ensure long-term sustainability Requirements5+ years of experience in SAP environments, with a proven track record in both operational and strategic projectsAt least 1 year of relevant leadership experienceAdvanced expertise in SAP Materials Management (MM), SAP Retail, and SAP Retail Purchasing, with a focus on large-scale implementationsExceptional understanding of retail inventory workflows, including consumption, scrapping, store transfers, stock counting, and shelf management in complex settingsDemonstrated proficiency in SAP Fiori for sophisticated user interface interactions and functional testingStrong command of SAP SD and retail transactions including DSD orders, inventory receipts, and stock returns in high-volume contextsProven ability to design, manage, and maintain knowledge repositories, ensuring documentation supports complex issue resolution and team developmentHighly adept at addressing escalations, resolving intricate operational challenges, and troubleshooting systems in live environments with minimal disruptionAble to align system functionality with evolving business requirements while leading efforts for system upgrades and innovationsExcellent written and spoken English (B2+ level), ensuring clear and impactful communication across teams Nice to haveExtensive knowledge of SAP Retail Sales workflows, including forecasting and plan integrationHands-on expertise in SAP-IS for Retail Solutions at the enterprise level We offerInternational projects with top brandsWork with global teams of highly skilled, diverse peersHealthcare benefitsEmployee financial programsPaid time off and sick leaveUpskilling, reskilling and certification coursesUnlimited access to the LinkedIn Learning library and 22,000+ coursesGlobal career opportunitiesVolunteer and community involvement opportunitiesEPAM Employee GroupsAward-winning culture recognized by Glassdoor, Newsweek and LinkedIn
