As a core technical contributor, you are responsible for conducting critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm’s business objectives.Job ResponsibilitiesPartners and collaborates with product, architecture, security and operations teams prioritize reliability and embed best practices across the software development lifecycle to improve operations across the Loan Origination environment. Lead and develop resilient software solutions that improve reliability, scalability and system performance of the Loan Origination System (LOS). Leads evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams to outcomes-oriented probing of architectural designs, technical credentials, and applicability for use within existing systems and information architecture.Develops secure high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by othersLeads communities of practice across Software Engineering to drive awareness and use of new and leading-edge technologiesAdds to team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respectRequired Qualifications, Capabilities, And SkillsFormal training or certification on software development concepts and 5+ years applied experience, SRE/DevOps, platform engineer, or similarProficiency in operating and managing cloud-based services using IaC (infrastructure as code, Terraform or similar) in AWSHands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stabilityAdvanced in programming in Java and Python technologiesProficiency in automation and continuous delivery methodsExperience across the whole Software Development Life CycleAdvanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and SecurityDemonstrated proficiency in software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)Fluent in EnglishPreferred Qualifications, Capabilities, And SkillsAWS Practitioner and Google Cloud certifications are highly desirableKnowledge of federated trust models for identity and security with hybrid + public cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP)Knowledge of RAG architecturesKnowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systemsABOUT USJ.P.
