No matter what your position, you will have a vital role to play in safely feeding the world and taking care of our planet.Job DescriptionRole purpose Lead & Manage country Supply Planning function, and coordinate with country / Regional Supply Planning Leads that lead the our supply planning teams that operate in our global supply hubs in Hyderabad & Bangkok.Lead S&OP process for CountryAct as single key point of contact to balance the demand & supply.Manage demand-supply gap with data support and smart tools.Manage the ex-works shipments follow-up and ensure arrival of stocks up to WHs and drive 100% OTIF.Secures successful & effective management of Supply Planning processes, systems and policies throughout the P&S organization.Initiates & Develops programs & projects, to implement structural improvements supply planning organization.Ensuring short to mid-term Supply meets the latest commercial demand in line with budget and or latest plan sales, with a focus on supply planning excellence, communication, information, quality, profitable growth and innovation.Secures all physical inventories in our warehouse in line with market inventory policies, S&OP, Crop Release processes and conform to internal quality & commercial product specsIn strong coordination with seed production, plant operations, demand planning, achieve optimal capacity utilization in our plants and QC labs, while securing inventory readiness, in line with commercial demand as well as timely demand confirmation based upon current inventory levels as critical element and input into the cross functional S&OP process and S&OP supply commitment.AccountabilitiesOptimal Supply planning & sub sequent overall Inventory planning process of our incoming and existing inventories, achieving operational excellence against optimal lead-times in the overall flow of inventory through our Syngenta processing plants (supply hubs) and 3rd party processing tollers.Manage inventory/effective supply planning of incoming crops through our Third Party Processing Tolling site.Actively collaborate with Order Management team to get consignments in timeManage inventory up to commercial product stage & product form in line with latest forecast demand and that will meet business/customer demand.Ensures crop focus collaboration & coordination across functions and work in partnership with Field Production, QA/QC, Marketing & Sales, Logistics and Finance as required and align the Supply Planning goals on the business needs.Pro-actively identify systemic inventory constraints (surplus, quality, under-over forecasting) and drive resolutions upstream in P&S function or downstream in Commercial & Business planning functionProvide change leadership for efforts towards shared services in these functions.Develop a strong collaboration with the Marketing and Sales function.Monitoring and evaluation of all order issuesEnsure high level of customer service to the teamDevelop strong relationships across the regional Vegetables and overall seeds Supply Chain.QualificationsBSc in Engineering (Mechanical/Chemical/Industrial Production) or a degree in Planning or Logistics/Supply Chain Management will be an added advantage.Understanding of the full scope of the Supply Area at a conceptual level (Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing, order Management ,Distribution and Finance).Functional knowledge of planning, regions, territories and commercial units, processing, testing, packing and shipment.Quality management principles and understanding of process flows and developing structural solutions.Ensuring an appropriate order flow with the compliance to Syngenta policiesMinimum 8 years professional experience in a Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Logistics.Preferred work experience industry: FMCG, Agrochemical Industry.Additional Information Critical experience:Experience in working / leading multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural teams and or departments.Supply Chain Operations / Planning / Project ManagementTeam building and Change Management skillsMUST -Order to Cash Process (O2C)
