School of Business and LawLocation: Brighton - Moulsecoomb Salary: £41,064 to £48,822 per annum Closing Date: Sunday 02 November 2025 Reference: BU3162-25-226Join the growing and vibrant Law team within the School of Business and Law at The University of BrightonThis is an exciting opportunity for an inspirational and motivated lecturer to make a valuable contribution at a university that is proud of its reputation for producing highly employable and adaptable graduates and postgraduates.We are looking to appoint a lecturer to our diverse community of staff, who will be able to contribute to teaching on our Law courses and who has experience in teaching Law with a focus on at least one of the Foundations of Legal Knowledge. You will be responsible for delivering innovative and engaging teaching, supervision and learning support to our students across the subject area.It is expected that you will actively engage in research and scholarship. If you have a PhD and can supervise at this level, you will have opportunities to develop as the University has an active programme for supporting early career researchers.To be successful in this post, you should also have:A commitment to educating students at undergraduate and postgraduate levelThe ability to use a mixture of traditional and innovative teaching methods, we require a track record of teaching in a blended learning environmentResearch potential as well as a relevant degree and postgraduate qualifications in the subject areaThis is a full-time (37 hours per week) post, based at our Brighton Moulsecoomb campus and we welcome applications from people seeking to job share.Why join us?At Brighton, you’ll find a supportive and forward-thinking academic community.
