Job DescriptionThe Legal Assistant will provide administrative support to the legal department (Corporate Legal team).Manage the service emails of the Monee Payment and Credit (P&C) and Insurance entities. Prepare, proofread, print, file, photocopy/scan, send, and arrange for the execution and notarization of various reports, correspondence, and documents. This may include the drafting of simple/routine documents.Ensure the proper labeling, filing, inventory, and safekeeping of documents and records, both in hard copy and digital copy formats.Liaise with other departments and related entities for proper action on documents, emails to and from government/regulatory offices, and similar matters. Maintain and manage relevant trackers, database, and calendars for corporate housekeeping.Assist in the preparation and setting of board meetings, which may include preparing and disseminating notices, reference materials, and board packsTrack filing deadlines with government agencies (SEC, BSP, AML, and others as necessary from time to time) Support compliance audits and regulatory inspections by preparing requested documentation in coordination with other teamsRequirementsMinimum of 2 years of legal experienceHighly ethical, discreet, and able to maintain confidentialityMeticulous, organized, and committed to delivering high-quality work within tight timelinesAble to manage a large amount of paperwork, multitask and prioritize, and work in a dynamic and fast-paced environmentProficient in MS Office applicationsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsFamiliarity with corporate governance best practices is a plus
