Job Description

We are looking for someone who has at least 1 year of experience working as a legal assistant who would like to work for a U.S. Law Firm!We have multiple positions available for immediate hire.Please note: This position is for independent contractors. As such, you will be responsible for your own taxes and insurance.What we offer:Salary paid every 1st and 15th40 Hours per weekLong-term, work from home jobs with opportunity for growthRaise after 3 monthsInternet Subsidy (monthly)Insurance Subsidy after 6 monthsPerformance and Attendance Incentives (monthly)Responsibilities:Evaluate new cases and provide initial assessments to the legal teamDevelop case strategies and oversee the implementation of these strategiesManage case files and maintain accurate records of all case activityCommunicate regularly with clients to provide updates on case status and answer any questions they may haveAct as the primary liaison between clients and the legal team, ensuring that clients are informed and satisfied with the progress of their casesCoordinate with outside experts and vendors as needed to ensure that clients receive the best possible representationProvide ongoing support and guidance to the legal team as they work on individual casesConduct legal research and prepare legal documents as necessaryRequirements:Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Legal Assistant in a law firmStrong knowledge of legal procedures, terminology, and practicesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to manage multiple cases and prioritize tasks effectivelyProven ability to work independently as well as part of a teamProficient in Microsoft Office and other case management softwareIf you are a dedicated and detail-oriented legal case manager with a passion for helping clients achieve their legal goals, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunityMust be able to work full-time/part-time in U.S. time zoneEqual Opportunity Employer:Scale Up Staffing is an equal opportunity employer and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any kind.
