Legal Assistant Our Client is in search of a seasoned Legal Assistant with at least 5 to 7 years of experience working for a senior partner plaintiff attorney. Previous experience in medical malpractice/ personal injury litigation is required. The fast-paced position requires the use of software systems and databases to monitor deadlines and ensure the timely filing of all legal documents. Job duties also include: managing calendars, scheduling meetings, preparing legal documents, Court filings, maintaining client files, and handling correspondence. The successful candidate will be part of a small team working side by side with partner and associate attorneys. Must be a self-starter, detail oriented, organized and work well with others; collaborative and reliable, able to work effectively as part of a team; positive and results-focused, contributing to the success of the legal team. During the initial period of hire, the work schedule will be full-time with a transfer to a hybrid work schedule as experience in the role grows. Salary will be competitive and commiserate with experience.Training: new employees go through a 4 week Trial period. This is all on-site and is paid at 35 hours, you will only be in the office Monday-Thursday.Upon completion- the full time position is on-site, 5 days a week. Paid hourly with overtime.
