With 18+ years, A- ratings (AM Best & Fitch), and a global footprint, we’re a trusted, agile partner for complex risks.What are we looking for?We are seeking an experienced Legal & Compliance Counsel to support our team in reviewing, drafting, and negotiating contracts while ensuring compliance with internal policies and applicable regulations. Strong expertise in contractual law, AML compliance, and regulatory frameworks within the financial or insurance sector.Main responsibilities: Review, draft, and negotiate Vendor & Service Provider Contracts, TOBAs, NDAs, Delegated Authority Agreements, and internal policiesProvide legal advice and identify contractual and regulatory risksSupport AML, compliance, and corporate governance initiativesDevelop and maintain internal policies and proceduresMonitor regulatory changes and coordinate with external counsel and authorities as neededEssential qualifications, skills and experience:Bachelor’s Degree in Law (Master’s in Compliance, Corporate, or Contract Law preferred)Minimum 3 years of experience in legal and/or compliance roles, ideally within the financial, insurance, or reinsurance sectorsIn-depth knowledge of contract law, AML, and policy developmentFluent in English (required) and SpanishKey Attributes: Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skillsHigh ethical standards and attention to detailProactive and capable of managing multiple prioritiesStrong facilitator who builds collaboration and drives resultsOur promise to youCompetitive salary with performance-based incentivesOpportunities for career growth and professional developmentExposure to international markets and global clientsA collaborative and dynamic work environment alongside industry expertsPrivate medical insuranceGroup life insuranceHybrid working environmentWho We AreOceanre is a leading reinsurance provider, specializing in life, health, property & casualty, personal accident, cargo, surety, and motor insurance solutions.
