About UsJJ Ryan Mühendislik Limited Şirketi is recently established part of the JJ Ryan Group, an international engineering, construction, and technology group that delivers infrastructure solutions across Australia Pacific, the Middle East, and Europe.The Group’s three core businesses are:JJ Ryan Consulting – engineering, project delivery, and asset managementEngiSeek – technology and digital solutions (Lab 55000, Airspace Lab and others)REPCOM – constructor / EPCM deliveryThe RoleThe Commercial team provides integrated expertise across the full project lifecycle from governance, legal and commercial management.We are seeking a Legal Counsel to lead the Commercial team across the JJ Ryan Group, including group governance, legal, risk as well as people functions (i.e. overall responsibility for the HR function).The role will be based in Turkey and report directly to the Managing Director (based in Australia), with support from the General Counsel.This is a full-time role suited to an experienced legal or commercial professional who thrives in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment. The successful candidate will oversee these core commercial domains.The position will work across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring best-practice governance and compliance while driving commercial success across consulting, technology, and construction divisions.Key ResponsibilitiesDraft, review, and negotiate commercial, consultancy, subcontract, and supplier agreements.Support business governance, board compliance, and corporate reporting.Lead or advise on contract negotiations, dispute resolution, and risk mitigation strategies.Manage commercial and insurance claims in coordination with external counsel and insurers.Provide practical, strategic legal guidance to senior leadership and project teams.Advise on employment, recruitment, and people-related compliance matters.Oversee property, leasing, and real estate documentation as required.Support training and engagement initiatives to improve commercial literacy across the business.Monitor regulatory developments across Australia Pacific, Middle East and Europe.Uphold the Group’s values of transparency, accountability, and excellence.About YouBachelor of Laws (LLB) or equivalent; postgraduate or international legal qualification desirable.Minimum 5 years’ post-qualification experience in commercial, corporate, or construction law.Proven track record in contract drafting, negotiation, and dispute resolution.Exposure to engineering, construction, technology, or consulting industries preferred.Confident communicator with strong analytical and organisational skills.Demonstrated ability to work across international jurisdictions and multidisciplinary teams.High level of professional integrity, judgment, and commercial acumen.Self-starter that does not require micromanagement.What We OfferOpportunity to lead the commercial operations for a global, high-performing group.Exposure to complex, large-scale projects across multiple sectors and regions.Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team spanning engineering, construction, and technology.
