Job Description

As Legal Counsel at Y.CO, you will play a critical role in ensuring our business operations are conducted within legal parameters. Your excellent communication skills will serve you well as you provide proactive legal counsel and strategic advice to various departments within the company. With your effective negotiation skills, you will assist in legal negotiations and discussions with clients, partners and suppliers.You will utilise your exceptional attention to detail by reviewing and drafting contracts, agreements and policies to ensure they are compliant with legal requirements and company standards. You have a strong understanding of corporate structuring and will maintain and oversee company AML procedures and reporting requirements, ensuring the procedures are up to date with regulations. You are proactive in your approach and monitor any potential changes in legislation and current industry trends. Your expertise will contribute to maintaining our commitment to legal compliance and risk management.In addition, you will be responsible for delegating tasks and providing training to compliance team members, ensuring consistency in legal standards and knowledge across the department.
