Legal Director

Our global client, a leading AI solutions provider, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Legal Director to lead and manage all corporate legal matters in the MENA region, particularly focusing on Saudi Arabia. You will be responsible for overseeing legal strategies, mitigating risks, and ensuring compliance across operational, contractual, and regulatory areas.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee all corporate, commercial, and regulatory legal matters, ensuring compliance with local laws and group policies.Lead and manage the legal function in KSA, building a high-performing team that delivers proactive, business-focused legal support.Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts and operational agreements.Advise on corporate structuring, entity setup, and governance across multiple jurisdictions.Provide strategic guidance on intellectual property, including registration, protection, enforcement, and monetization.Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external counsel to manage complex legal issues and transactions.Stay abreast of evolving regulations impacting technology, AI, and data-driven businesses in the region.Requirements:10–12 years of post-qualification experience in a top-tier law firm or in-house legal team within the technology sector.Strong background in corporate and commercial law, ideally with exposure to capital markets or regulatory work in KSA.Qualified in the UK or US is a plus. Fluent in English and Arabic. Knowledge of Mandarin is an advantage.Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.Comfortable working in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment.This is an opportunity to shape the legal landscape of a leading global technology company.
