The role presents an opportunity to develop a successful and rewarding career and gain significant exposure at all levels across the full breadth of the organisation.Key ResponsibilitiesThe Legal Legal Executive’s primary responsibility is to support the transaction execution team in managing transactions, such as aircraft sales, acquisitions, leases and financings, and in maintaining proper departmental protocols and systems.Supporting the transaction lawyers in project managing transactions through all phases including structuring, diligence, documentation and closing Supporting the department in maintaining the filing system for Legal matters, including assisting with revised protocols and roll-out of same Ensuring that all documentation is completed to meet deadlines and in accordance with internal standards and protocolsDocumentation management; ensuring entire suite of transaction documentation is contained in original document sets and distributed in a timely mannerEnsuring bibles of documentation are created and saved as per the Company policy Ensuring all appropriate filings are completed Preparing drafts of certain primary transaction documents, incorporating changes requested from various departmental team members as required Running point on special projects(e.g., departmental, transactional, research) Maintaining departmental project trackers Filing of forms with the Companies Registration Office, attending a notary and/or Department of Foreign Affairs Ad hoc project workRequirements:University degree, preferably in law or in business 2-3 years’ experience working in a financial services or legal environmentExperience in aviation law an advantage, but not essentialCommercial awarenessStrong oral and written communication skillsSelf-motivated and keen to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentAbility to work under own initiative and take ownership of area of responsibilityAbility to meet deadlines, assigning priorities to work flows in accordance with company needsA keen interest in aviationOther information:Working with ORIX AviationOutside of an attractive and competitive remuneration package, and based in a modern office block situated in a desirable location, other benefits of the ORIX Aviation culture include:A flexible hybrid working model,A Social Committee who arrange multiple social events; everything from meals out and pub quizzes to family fun days and social drinks.
