Description US Job Description We are excited to be looking for a legal intern to join our growing Brussels office. Since opening in 2020, we have built a leading EU regulatory practice at the European Union’s administrative and legal heart.We are seeking a law graduate, to apply their legal expertise and commercial acumen in supporting our team of lawyers in a fast-paced environment. We place a huge significance on listening to our people and incorporating their ideas wherever possibleResponsibilitiesConduct legal research and draft analyses of EU product regulations.Draft and review legal documents, including briefing notes, and memoranda.Monitor, track and summarize EU legislative and policy developments.Support transactional and commercial matters, including drafting and negotiating commercial agreements as well as conducting regulatory due diligence in M&A transactions.Key Skills, Attributes And ExperienceLawyer either in the process of pursuing bar qualifications or already qualified. Prior experience in EU regulatory and/or life sciences law is a strong plus.Genuine interest in EU regulatory law, with the ability to quickly master complex matters.Excellent research, analytical and writing skills, with the ability to produce clear, concise and well-structured work product in English.Availability for a full-time internship of 6 to 12 months in Brussels and authorization to work in Belgium.What We OfferThis is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to gain hands-on legal experience and direct exposure to real-world cases and legal issues, while working alongside experienced professionals.
