Legal InternThe Gymnastics Ethics Foundation (GEF) is an independent foundation committed to protecting the integrity of gymnastics worldwide and ensuring that any violations of FIG rules, policies, or procedures are addressed in a fair, transparent, and unbiased manner. We promote safe sport, strengthen safeguarding standards, and support the well-being of athletes across all levels.We are seeking a highly motivated Legal Intern eager to gain hands-on experience in sports law, integrity, compliance, and safe sport. This paid internship offers exposure to real cases, direct collaboration with senior staff, and a unique insight into the functioning of an international sports integrity body.Key Responsibilities:Work closely with the Executive Director, the Head of Legal Affairs, and the wider GEF team on a broad range of disciplinary, governance, and integrity mattersSupport case management activities: analyse incoming matters, identify key issues, prepare case files, draft communications, and assist during proceedings before the Disciplinary Commission and the Court of Arbitration for SportParticipate in witness interviews and take accurate, well-structured notes and minutesConduct targeted legal and factual research and produce concise, actionable summariesAssist in organising meetings and internal processes (scheduling, filing, maintaining records)Contribute to special projects and ad-hoc assignments in support of the GEF’s missionRequirements:Currently enrolled in, or having recently completed, a Master’s degree in LawExcellent command of English (written and spoken); good working knowledge of French and/or other languages is an assetStrong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex issues clearlyHigh level of organisation and reliabilityDiscretion, professionalism, and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential informationStrong interest in sportCandidates must hold a valid work permitAdditional information:Ideally full-time; part-time candidates may be consideredStart date: February 2026 or as agreedMinimum duration: 9–12 monthsFlexible working arrangementsPlace of work: Lausanne, Switzerland (partial remote work possible)Applications (CV, letter of motivation, and references) shall be sent to jobs@gymnasticsethicsfoundation.org no later than 19 December 2025.
