Health & Fitness Club ManagerAbout the Role:We’re recruiting for an experienced and enthusiastic Health & Fitness Club Manager to lead a busy leisure facility in the Midlands. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on delivering excellent customer service, driving commercial performance, and managing a motivated team.Key Responsibilities:Oversee daily operations of the Health & Fitness Club, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, safety, and service.Lead and support the team, including lifeguards, fitness instructors, and front-of-house staff.Manage membership campaigns, events, and social media activity to grow engagement.Monitor budgets, payroll, and financial performance, ensuring targets are met.Coordinate training, team development, and performance reviews.Promote the club’s facilities internally and locally to increase participation.Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and pool plant operations.Handle customer feedback and implement improvements where needed.What We’re Looking For:Proven experience in managing a leisure or fitness facility.Strong leadership and organisational skills.Financial awareness and experience with budgets and reporting.Excellent communication and people skills.Flexibility to work shifts including weekends.Lifeguard or fitness qualifications (desirable but not essential).What’s on Offer:Competitive salarySupportive working environmentOpportunity to lead and grow a successful teamCareer development and training opportunitiesPlease apply today or contact Laura 087 9004108 laurab@excelrecruitment.com
