We're seeking an experienced and highly skilled Head of Production to lead our production team at Beat Games.
As a key member of our leadership team, you'll be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of our game projects. You'll work closely with our development teams, stakeholders, and external partners to ensure that our games are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This is an extremely exciting time at Beat Games as we look to build and innovate on the rhythm action genre. Required SkillsHead of Production Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the production team, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure their success Develop and implement production plans, schedules, and budgets for all game projects Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, art, design, and QA, to ensure alignment and effective communication Identify and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies that may impact project timelines or quality Foster an environment of transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement within the production team Work closely with external partners, such as contractors, vendors, and outsourcing companies, to ensure successful collaboration and delivery Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies to continuously improve our production processes and methodologies Participate in the recruitment, training, and development of production staff to build a collaborative and empowered team Collaborate with Reality Labs’ various departments to ensure successful game launches and ongoing support Occasionally travel locally and abroad to meet with external and internal partners, visit co-dev studios, etc Minimum QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:
Experience in game development having shipped multiple titles, or equivalent experience, with a focus on production management Proven track record of delivering high-quality games on time and within budget Demonstrated leadership and management skills, with experience in building and managing collaborative and empowered teams Proven track record of success in communication, negotiation, and problem-solving Proven experience working effectively solving complex problems and embracing ambiguity to drive innovative and impactful solutions with multiple priorities and deadlines Demonstrable knowledge of game development pipelines, processes, and tools Experience with Agile development methodologies and project management software (e. g. , Jira) Preferred QualificationsPreferred Qualifications:
