Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Licensed Immigration Adviser to join our team on a part-time contract basis. This fully remote role offers a work-from-home arrangement and is ideal for self-employed advisers who are looking to generate additional income while maintaining their existing practice.About the RoleYou will manage immigration matters independently, provide accurate and compliant advice, and deliver a high standard of professional service. The role requires strong technical capability, sound judgement, and strict adherence to confidentiality and regulatory obligations.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide professional immigration advice in accordance with the requirements of the Immigration Advisers Authority.Prepare, review, and lodge visa applications with Immigration New Zealand.Conduct eligibility assessments and provide strategic advice tailored to client circumstances.Research, interpret, and apply current immigration legislation, operational manuals, and policy updates.Maintain accurate client records and ensure full compliance with professional standards.Manage client communications, expectations, and deadlines effectively.RequirementsYou are based anywhere in New Zealand.Must hold a current New Zealand Immigration Adviser Licence (Full license preferred).Minimum 2 years’ experience practicing in the migration industry.Strong command of immigration legislation with the ability to research and adopt recent policy updates.Demonstrated good standing with the Immigration Advisers Authority, with no negative findings, complaints history, or disciplinary issues.Proven track record of professional conduct and successful case management.High level of integrity with strict commitment to client confidentiality.Ability to work autonomously, remotely, and take initiative.MARA License is an advantage but not mandatory.Must hold current Professional Indemnity (PI) Insurance.What We OfferFlexible part-time contract arrangement.Competitive contract remuneration (based on experience and caseload).Opportunity to collaborate within a professional and growth-oriented immigration practice.If you are an experienced licensed adviser seeking a flexible, part-time contract opportunity to supplement your existing business, we welcome your application.Please email your CV and a brief cover letter outlining your experience and availability to info@ezyimmigration.com
