Job Description
Manage the issuance, renewal, and amendment of all company licenses and permits.Liaise effectively with governmental and regulatory authorities, including:IDA (Industrial Development Authority)GAFI (General Authority for Investment and Free Zones)FRA (Financial Regulatory Authority)Competent District Presidencies for operations and facility licenses.Ensure all company activities comply with the applicable laws, regulations, and licensing requirements.Maintain and update a comprehensive database of all licenses, renewal dates, and status reports.Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely submission of required documentation for license applications and renewals.Provide legal advice and interpretation on licensing and regulatory matters affecting business operations.Monitor regulatory and policy changes impacting the company's licensed activities and recommend necessary actions.Support the Legal Manager in maintaining compliance standards and preparing periodic compliance reports.Handle regulatory inspections, audits, and correspondence with authorities as required.RequirementsQualifications & Requirements:Bachelor's Degree in Law from a recognized university.2-3 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in licensing, regulatory, and compliance law.Proven experience dealing with IDA, GAFI, FRA, and other governmental bodies.Strong understanding of licensing procedures, compliance frameworks, and regulatory reporting.Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.Fluency in Arabic and English (both written and spoken).High level of organization, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
